Our adult kids are just amazing. Their frie has been priceless. From dinner dates to travel buddies, they keep us well dressed and laughing. I always appreciate recommendations on what movies/shows I will and won’t like or which words I should probably avoid because meanings have totally changed.
This advice comes from the same kids who we taught everything we knew . They are like dividends… GOD given investments entrusted to us as parents. More valuable than the talents of Jesus’ parable. We took seriously the call to try to be good and faithful servants to our Master. And now this account is better than any retirement plan.
Parenting is an awesome undertaking but we never have to go at it alone. Even a single mom or dad can tap into Divine assistance. As Paul encouraged Timothy –
Guard the treasure entrusted to you, with the HELP of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us(2 Tim 1:14)
