{"id":7690,"date":"2024-01-08T13:35:09","date_gmt":"2024-01-08T18:35:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forglorysake.com\/?p=7690"},"modified":"2024-01-08T13:36:47","modified_gmt":"2024-01-08T18:36:47","slug":"taste-and-see-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forglorysake.com\/index.php\/2024\/01\/08\/taste-and-see-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Taste and See"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] \u201cYes.\u201d So through Him we say our \u201cAmen\u201d to the glory of God.<\/em><\/strong> 2 Corinthians 1:20<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every 6 months I ask God for a <em>promise<\/em> in His Word. Something will pop off the page or I\u2019ll see it over and over again. I\u2019ll then write it out and study the whole chapter before finally putting it on my calendar to pray everyday. Then I just watch and see what happens.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What began many years ago as looking for promises for myself, at 21 grew to cover my husband and later: our children, family, and friends. Today I listen for God to throw me names. In 2020 I added the \u201cBride of Christ\u201d and this last year \u201cthe Remnant.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God has blown me away in response! Unbelievable answers to my pleas have been so exciting to watch. Maybe He was already working and planning these outcomes, but it feels so personal. What a thrill it is to think I might have been a part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bible proves to us that God delights in showing Himself faithful to <em>anyone<\/em> watching and waiting. I love seeing Him work and I think He gets a kick out of knocking my socks off.
