{"id":7673,"date":"2024-01-04T11:44:05","date_gmt":"2024-01-04T16:44:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forglorysake.com\/?p=7673"},"modified":"2024-01-04T11:44:05","modified_gmt":"2024-01-04T16:44:05","slug":"perfect-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forglorysake.com\/index.php\/2024\/01\/04\/perfect-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Perfect Service"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I woke up thinking about something a very wealthy client mentioned recently. They stated (but not rudely), <em>\u201cI require a certain level of service.\u201d<\/em> Immediately I thought of God and laughed. Not that He would ever say that, but if He did &#8211; His standards would be so ridiculously high <em>who<\/em> could ever offer Him service?  Then I remembered\u2026 <em>I serve Him!!<\/em> How was He ever to expect perfect service from me? From laughter to near tears in seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suddenly it dawned on me that all this started with Him\u2026 it was ALL His idea. The impossible job of taking messy, sin-filled humans and turning them into acceptable forms of good service was something <em>only<\/em> He could accomplish. And amazingly He\u2019s proven the process 1000\u2019s of times in the lives of all those recorded in scripture. I am just one in a long list of imperfect selections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funny how something I\u2019ve heard many times before can hit me fresh from a new angle. The awareness of a <strong>perfect God<\/strong> &#8211; requiring <strong>perfect service<\/strong>  -from a <strong>imperfect servant<\/strong> like me, and how I could ever be made capable to do anything well enough for Him- overwhelmed me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But God, in His total perfection: IS capable and IS able not only to recreate me from the inside\/out, but make up any deficits of my service to Him, all while training me in righteousness. <strong>He is the God of impossible!<\/strong> Just incase doubts remain, He keeps washing souls in the blood of Jesus, filling them with the Holy Spirit, and using them for His Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only question I have left is\u2026 <em>why me?<\/em> I\u2019ll ask Him someday, but for now, Ill be here, ready to serve the best I know how.<br><br>ForGlorySake.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forglorysake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/76BF57AF-8B45-4B47-83A4-69AD0CD4CDCC.jpeg?resize=640%2C480&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7675\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I woke up thinking about something a very wealthy client mentioned recently.
