It\u2019s dark in the mornings. There\u2019s little sunlight time. Not my favorite, but this season, like all others is a <strong>gift from God<\/strong>\u2026 because He Who promises to <em>never leave us or forsake <\/em>us, also promises <em>that He does not change and He\u2019s focused on complet<\/em>ing His church. So I sat down and decided to seek out a better attitude. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>\u201cEvery good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of Lights, with Whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> James\u202c \u202d1\u202c:\u202d17\u202c \u202d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like other times when I\u2019ve needed gratitude, I created a thankful list. Here it is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For frost on the yard and birds flying by. For children\u2019s voices and hot drinks (coffee). For a warm place to rest and a Bible to tuck-in to. For a friendly hug and familiar kiss. For a heart that can listen and a will to seek God.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once I got started\u2026 the list grew easily throughout the day. <em>Its what you water that grows, what you feed that thrives<\/em>. <br>Whenever Ive asked God for joy, and contentment\u2026 peace and happiness have soon followed. Reminders like: I am chosen &#8211; I am called &#8211; I am justified &#8211; I have a Father in Heaven Who loves me and a Savior Who died to make it all possible &#8211; flooded me!<br><br>Each wonderful fact brought more hope. They made me feel so special and blessed.
