Actually 2 trees grown together. They remind me of best friends in a long marriage, mushed at the bottom and twisted at the middle, like they\u2019re holding hands.\u00a0&#x2764;&#xfe0f;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Poppy told me that years ago when he cleared the land to build his house he purposed to save them. <strong><em>\u201cIt\u2019s rare to find trees that grow together,\u00a0\u00a0they\u2019re too strong to ever fall down.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> A life lesson right outside the kitchen window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My parents had a long marriage and my in-law\u2019s do too. I pray we follow in their steps, with our children after us\u2026 growing together into each other\u2019s open spaces, until it\u2019s hard to tell us apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like one of the movie lines my husband and I love: \u201cwith me (or) without me?\u201d <strong>With<\/strong> is always better. Together we are stronger.
