I went for a run at a nearby park. A half mile from the car I finally untangled my earphones and tried to turn on music. No sound. Opening the back of my MP3, I discovered – no batteries! Too far to turn back now, I kept on in silence. Usually don’t like to hear myself breathe. Interesting… miles of silence. I prayed and cried. Today, my heart is overwhelmed. So Many thoughts coming fast. Our son has had a revelation<\/em> that God Can<\/strong>\u00a0for him, a huge turning over of his will. My thinking slowed with my pace and I marveled at God’s faithfulness. It was refreshing and soul-lifting. As I left, I kept the silence and waited for God’s impression. This is a journey,\u00a0one day at a time<\/em> and yes, I can for him.<\/em><\/p>\n

Noise surrounds us day by day<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Say to the silence, it’s ok<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Turn off the sounds, listen to breath\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

run for a while in silence.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Sit alone, don’t be afraid<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Look more carefully at what God made<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Take a walk, slow it down<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Take your walk in silence.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Ask your questions, state your mind<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Think a minute, listen a while<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Wait for answers He’s waited to give<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Find your peace in silence.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Noisy noise, too much sound<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Search for quiet til it’s found<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Treasure rare is waiting you<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Spend some time with silence.<\/strong><\/h4>\n
