As a child, it was spiders or my mom dying. As a teen it turned to a fear of being disabled- unable to dance. When I married it became my husband\u2019s death, my children not loving Jesus, failing at homeschooling&#8230;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each fear, God confronted straight on, challenging me with the same question,&nbsp;<strong><em>\u201cWill you trust Me?\u201d<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;No matter what I feared, the question was the same. And time after time I had to&nbsp;<strong><em>chose to trust<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now I have little fear, because I know after so many confrontations&#8230;&nbsp;<strong><em>\u201cYes, I will trust You, because You are trustworthy.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;God loves me with an everlasting love, He will always stay close and He always, always has a plan for our good.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think the amplified Bible states it best:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong><em>There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God\u2019s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God\u2019s love]. We love, because He first loved us.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>1 John\u00a04:18-19\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"620\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forglorysake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/15219814-5051-4CCB-97AA-8AC0A42D8254.jpeg?resize=640%2C620&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6510\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My greatest fear has changed with age.
