The message I seem to get from God over and over is “Trust, wait …and see.”\u00a0<\/em>As an 11 year old, I trusted Jesus as my Lord and Savior only to discover that I needed to trust Him daily<\/em> to help me do the right thing. I also needed to trust Him with my future<\/em> and \u00a0sticky situations<\/em>, like when I was the only one in the crowd concerned what He thought!<\/p>\n

It’s trust to get through this situation then trust to get through the next. It\u00a0seems to come up like hurdles for a hurdler. Each one a little higher than the next. The business of trusting is active, growing and personally tailored. Like a living trust<\/em>, custom designed by a personal God. It’s fed by my belief in Jesus and Who He says He is, and what He says He will do.<\/p>\n

33 plus years of walking with the Lord<\/em> have given me a pretty good perspective. I have a lot of personal evidence that He is faithful. He will see me through whatever is happening today. Because, He has before. This is my testimony. I’ve read others in the Bible as well. I call them “God stories.”<\/p>\n

I usually have an idea of how things should go. But that’s usually not what God does. So I look back into hard times I’ve came through and remember. My journals help where my memory fails. I see God’s will wasn’t thwarted, His glorious plans did’t fail. Then I can rest with Him in control.<\/p>\n

Lord, help me graciously die to my idea of how this should go. I remember Your love, I’ll wait on Your plan, I’ll rest in Your timing for this family. Your ways are not my ways… they’re always better!<\/em><\/p>\n
