My mom used to say, the best thing about getting older was, “being able to say whatever she wanted to.”<\/em> I think what she relished was having the courage<\/strong> to speak up and the whiter hair that allowed her to be heard<\/strong>.

I look around and see precious few are offering any wise words these days. It could be their voices are drowned out by louder, more foolish voices. Oh, for the godly to speak up and be heard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why are we – those who know the truth of God\u2019s Word – ever silent? In our own homes… neighborhoods… churches we need to speak up. God has spent a lot of time preparing us for such a time as this. It is by heart-to-heart<\/strong> that the battle for the Kingdom is won. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ask God daily for wisdom and direction in what to say <\/em>and when to say it<\/em>. I never want to misuse what He\u2019s poured into me so carefully. Timing is important, yet I dare not withhold the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Truth<\/strong> of: God\u2018s grace. The blessing of having devoted my life to loving my husband and family. Choosing them over me. Giving myself and my money to God. Studying His Word. Seeking His face, daily.

My dear friends who are 50+ years, we are the Matriarchs! <\/strong>The baton is in our lap. It is for us to accept our crowns of glory<\/em> and share wisdom with those coming behind. With age comes understanding and less concern what others think. So let us go in the wisdom of God,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and Speak up! <\/strong>
