{"id":4175,"date":"2019-12-26T11:14:18","date_gmt":"2019-12-26T16:14:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/forglorysake.com\/?p=4175"},"modified":"2020-09-29T19:27:48","modified_gmt":"2020-09-29T23:27:48","slug":"what-i-got-wrong","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forglorysake.com\/index.php\/2019\/12\/26\/what-i-got-wrong\/","title":{"rendered":"What I got wrong."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That we needed to be perfect parents &#x1f64f;&#x1f3fc;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That if we did all the prescribed things, the kids would just fall in line &#x1f602;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That prayer was just for me&#x1f64f;&#x1f3fc;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That Christmas was all about presents&#x1f381;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That coffee was just for the taste&#x1f633;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That a beach trip was optional &#x1f30a;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That growing old came at a certain age&#x1f475;&#x1f3fb;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That you shouldn\u2019t wear tennis shoes in Europe&#x1f45f;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That you need new clothes every year&#x1f45a;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That \u201crecycling\u201d doesn\u2019t include clothing!&#x1f9e5;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That company wants everything perfect&#x1f31f;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That loving, keeping, caring for children isn\u2019t a ministry&#x1f931;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That moving is horrible&#x1f3e1;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That kids someday won&#8217;t come home&#x2764;&#xfe0f;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That everyone knows their career path early on&#x270d;&#x1f3fc;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That the advice we got, <strong><em>\u201cEverything gets better\u201d <\/em><\/strong>&#8230; wouldn\u2019t really happen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IT DID!&#x1f44d;&#x1f3fc;&#x1f44d;&#x1f3fc;<br><br><strong>ForGlorySake!
