Me: I have such Peace …\u00a0<\/em>I really have Joy!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Child: How is that even possible?\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Me: Because I know God is out for my good<\/strong>\u00a0each day… even in this.<\/em><\/p>\n

Child: How’d you get like this?<\/em><\/p>\n

Me: Life experience; walking with God through all sorts of mess. He’s never left me. He’s held me up. He’s brought amazing life-change from every incident. You have to look for it sometimes.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Child:\u00a0What about when He’s not answering? He doesn’t show me what to do and I can’t find what I’m looking for.<\/em><\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0There”s a<\/i> Joy-Way you can\u00a0<\/strong>live. <\/strong>It takes believing He’s trustworthy… through grief, and loss, and waiting, and\u00a0sickness, and especially in darkness. I believe He loves me and He’s listening to me.\u00a0<\/i>\u00a0I can rest that work is being done and there’s a better way coming.<\/i><\/p>\n

Child: This sounds hard.<\/em><\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0It gets easier over time.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God\u2019s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” <\/em><\/strong>Philippians 4:6, 7 Amp.<\/p>\n
