I did reach my goal of losing 10lbs, and just in time as we head to Italy for a wedding and my dress will now fit!<\/p>\n<p>Things I like\u00a0about Keto:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Effective results <\/b>while maintaining macros.<\/li>\n<li><b>Plenty of calories! <\/b><\/li>\n<li><strong>Eating fats<\/strong>\u00a0that\u00a0guard against dementia\/Alzheimer&#8217;s.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Great recipes<\/strong> with low glucose content.<\/li>\n<li><b>curbed my daily coffee and chocolate intake.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Things I do NOT like about Keto:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Feeling weak<\/b>\u00a0<strong>when<\/strong><b>\u00a0I work out,\u00a0<\/b>during intermittent fasting. &#x1f61d;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<b>Bad breathe (!) <\/b>from eliminating keotones. My family mentioned an &#8220;odd smell&#8221; during fasting periods, so\u00a0I chewed gum constantly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Missing out on some seasonal fruits and some vegetables. <\/strong>Peaches!!!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Too much meat and dairy.<\/strong> Sometimes I just can&#8217;t eat any more meat&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With all this knowledge I&#8217;m hoping to move\u00a0forward into a &#8220;less-carb&#8221; existence that includes <b>ALL of my beloved veggies, fruit, beans and grains!\u00a0<\/b>Recently, I ate 2 large dates (15 carbs!) and ran an effortless -4 miles. I did not feel faint.
