Choices come in all shapes and sizes, even colors. Daily I choose items, activities, clothing, and food. It’s a constant determination to make each choice\u00a0good.\u00a0<\/b>Unfortunately this can vary according to how tired I am.<\/p>\n

Making something a habit helps me.<\/p>\n

Like attitude. Many times I blame hormones or other people, yet my attitudes and my reactions are my choice.<\/b> I’ve found choosing Joy<\/b>\u00a0first,<\/b>\u00a0greatly helps me set the stage. It’s where I have to begin each day.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Waking up, generates a\u00a0to<\/i>–do <\/i>list. I try to push this aside for 2 seconds and make a gratitude\u00a0list<\/i> <\/b>instead. Everything I’m thankful for. That starts a pattern that sets my day. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, busy or vacation. Right there, I confront this battle to chose: thankful or discontent?<\/p>\n

The benefit is\u00a0Joy<\/b>! I can honestly smile and sing in the midst of whatever<\/i>. The Joy that God gives me covers toothpaste to salvation, it’s the undercurrent of my life.\u00a0There will always be plenty of mess, heartache, stress and storm, yet Joy remains because I choose it, look for it<\/b>… and God is faithful<\/b> (even in the midst) to provide it.<\/strong><\/p>\n
