{"id":2972,"date":"2016-12-28T12:22:39","date_gmt":"2016-12-28T17:22:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/etheriedge.wordpress.com\/2016\/12\/28\/fixing-my-mind\/"},"modified":"2020-12-16T15:17:56","modified_gmt":"2020-12-16T20:17:56","slug":"fixing-my-mind","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forglorysake.com\/index.php\/2016\/12\/28\/fixing-my-mind\/","title":{"rendered":"Fixing My Mind"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Peace:<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;as I wash the dishes and wonder if they are <i>really<\/i> getting clean with only cold water.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;as we wait on the plumber to\u00a0<i>finally<\/i> come today and assess the broken hot water tank and whether our home warranty will cover its replacement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;as we make the leap to a non-traditional <i>&#8220;medical\u00a0health-share<\/i>&#8221; program for our family.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; as we pull our well adjusted bio-chemical engineering student from his beloved college and place him in an instate school to help with expenses.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;as we venture into a new partnership at work.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;as we wait&#8230; for yet another medical test for Sarah to see if anything can be done.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;as I ask God what He would have me pray for <i>others<\/i>\u00a0(not just <i>my<\/i> family).<\/p>\n<p>My mind swirls around and around until I re-read <i style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Isaiah 26:3,\u00a0<\/i>&#8220;<span class=\"ln-group\"><b style=\"font-style: italic;\">You keep him in perfect peace<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent\"><b style=\"font-style: italic;\">whose mind is stayed on You,<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"indent\"><em><strong>because he trusts in You<\/strong><\/em>.<\/span><b><i>&#8221; \u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/i><\/b>Worry stops there.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Peace.
