Waiting<\/strong>
\nDry is the flower that falls from the vine<\/em>
\nQuick was it’s life of beauty divine<\/em>
\nTouched and created by God’s gentle hand<\/em>
\nAll for His Glory,<\/em>
\nall for His plan.<\/em><\/p>\n

Short is a life on the grandest scale<\/em>
\nOnly to us seems a very long tale<\/em>
\nMoment by moment, days as sand<\/em>
\nTime measured out<\/em>
\nto every man.<\/em><\/p>\n

Then to our Maker a soul returns<\/em>
\nAccounting for even the smallest of words<\/em>
\nActions, thoughts, the slightest of deeds<\/em>
\nNothing escapes<\/em>
\nThe One who sees.<\/em><\/p>\n

Who is worthy to stand before God?<\/em>
\nFor mankind is made of dusty sod<\/em>
\nOnly by Faith in One we are saved<\/em>
\nThrough Jesus’ blood<\/em>
\nour debt was paid.<\/em>
