A new day – mine! An opportunity to start over – mine!\u00a0A chance to offer my thoughts and energies to God – mine! Blessings, grace, peace in increasing abundance – all mine!\u00a0<\/p>\n

When I wake in the morning, I want to blow into pieces. When I’m up with the sunrise,\u00a0I want more than just blue skies. I want more than just ok, more than fine, more than bent on getting by<\/em>\u00a0– Switchfoot<\/p>\n

That’s a quote from one of my favorite run-on-the-beach tunes. It reminds me of the freedom and joy I feel on vacation. But this is offered to me any day I seek the amazing love of my Father.\u00a0Abundant life<\/em> is mine for the taking when I open my eyes, reach out my hands and breathe in the awareness of His Spirit.<\/p>\n

I want more today, so I’m snatching the gift and tearing off the wrapping. I’m asking to be blown away by His abundant love. Fill me with Your Spirit, I’m prepared for Your blessing.<\/em> No dreary Monday, no same ‘ol, same ‘ol. I want more!<\/p>\n

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,<\/em> and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade<\/strong>. 1 Peter 1: 3-4<\/p>\n

Just ask.<\/p>\n
