Sewing tee shirt quilts and helping my husband with work (answering the phone and scheduling \u00a0appointments) fills my days. There was no way to continue nannying, so God provided a better situation for my little guy this year. Preschool.\u00a0God has been so faithful to give me work. I pray daily for those who are still looking for jobs.<\/p>\n

David’s client volume is a bit sluggish, yet God continues to put food in the fridge and allow us to open our doors to all the kids that come through.\u00a0It’s a miracle to think back over each week and count the number of kids that have slept here. It’s a unique situation, but somehow it works. I am blessed to be a part of this open door<\/em> ministry… which sometimes feels more like open pantry<\/em>! Haha<\/p>\n

I love these souls that traipse through our home. My prayer journal is filled with their names. Several have allowed me to “friend” them on FaceBook or I’ve even been given thumbs-up to send an occasional text of encouragement.<\/p>\n

God is creative. Curious how He works. It’s never quite what I expect or anticipate. Usually I don’t even see it happening until I stop and look back. Then it’s like,”Oh, look what He did”<\/em> or “now I get what that was about.”<\/em> I just love being along for the ride! Thankful that He chooses to use us.\u00a0Praying each day, that it continues.<\/p>\n
