Finding the Joy-Way

-I have Peace … I have Joy! -me

“How is that even possible?” My youngest asked.

-Because I know – I can rest assured, God is out for my good today, each day, even in “this” -whatever is happening. -me

“How did you get to this place?” She questions.

-Life experience, walking with Him through mess of all sorts. He has never left me. He has continually held me up. He has brought amazing life-changing blessing from every incident: good and bad. I don’t have to worry anymore (although that is a natural/normal first response!) It has gotten easier to move past. -me

-There is a Joy-Way to live, moment by moment, day by day. Through grief, through loss, through waiting, through sickness, through recovery, through darkness. He loves me. He cares for me. He’s listening to me. He wants my good so I can trust Him. -me

What about when He’s not answering, He doesn’t show me what to do or I can’t find what I’m looking for?” She continues.

-Then I rest that He’s working and there is a better way coming. Just do the next thing and trust. -me

“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6, 7 Amplified

up & down we go 😉
