Aiming to Conquer

A recent personal study time:
The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son. (Revelation 21:7 NET)
(Revelation 21:1-6 lists “these things”)
What is a conquerer? Dictionary says: it’s one who is victorious, one who overcomes… But what are we to overcome? Word-search “conquer” in Bible Apps (Lumina is a good one).
Clue: Now who is the person who has conquered the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:5 NET)
So we are to conquer/overcome the world… but how? And what is the “world?”
Another clue: Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21 NET
Combating anything evil or wrong (the world) with good. Sounds like: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and self-control, as Jesus did… and as I am able.
One more clue: And to the one who conquers and who continues in my deeds until the end, I will give him authority over the nations (Revelation 2:26 NET)
Yet, how can I continually act like Jesus?
Gold: “And they overcame and conquered (the Accuser) because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death.” ‭‭REVELATION‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭AMP‬‬
So it’s not an able-to-do-it-alone kind of journey. I need supernatural power through my belief in what Jesus accomplished, and a lot of prayer for boldness to speak up! I need His Spirit at full capacity in order to conquer-
Now who is the person who has conquered the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:5 NET)
Conclusion: Starting with belief. Moving forward with love. Bold. Unafraid… persistent to the end. This is a conquerer!
